CESASC Members and Friends,
On April 24, 2010 at Hilton San Gabriel, an exciting whole day event will be held for the 48th anniversary of the Chinese-American Engineers and Scientists Association of Southern California (CESASC).
The event is a day long event that starts with a Welcome Luncheon that officially opens a full day technical symposium will feature the following tentative topics / sessions.
- Opening Keynote: Prof. Kai Hwang, USC
- A1: Cloud Computing and Information Technology
- B1: : Biological Technology
- Luncheon Keynote: Mr. William Wang, Founder/CEO, Vizio Inc
- A2: Clean/Green/Alternative Energy
- B2: Humanities and Social Science
- A3: Aerospace and Space Exploration
- B3: Environment and Transportation
- Panel: Build up Successful Business with Innovations
- Graduate Student Poster Session
A Press Conference is featured at the end of the technical conference program to
allow all media access to speakers and panelists.
The format consists of statements from individuals followed by a Q & A interview session.
Media contacts will be available to coordinate and accommodate media questions and needs.
Convention dinner banquet
- Evening Program keynote speaker, Dr, Leroy Chiao, former NASA Shuttle and International Space Station Astronaut and current entrepreneur.
- Annual awards program for technical pioneer / life time contribution
- Recipients of the annual undergraduate and graduate scholarship competition.
- Cultural performances
- Evening entertainment.
